Earth Day Writing

The children wrote stories about the earth and what they were thankful for.  I am impressed with my students' writing.  They wrote these without any help.  They were careful to listen to the sounds in words and write what they hear.  The art project came out of the Mailbox Mazagine.  We attached the whole thing together on a sheet of newspaper so that we recycled and didn't use new paper.  I think they are beautiful!  Good writing kiddos!
